welcome in our forum. I think you're the first international "bluearean", and we are happy for your income.
I think you can post in english, because most of us are confident with this language.
I see you are interested (and you demonstrate high knowledge) about marvel foreign editions from countries around the world.
in blue area we focus on original USA editions, and mostly in italian reprints.
but some of us also collect foreing marvel editions.
Few years ago, I just made some research about foreing marvel comics. You can find my job in a "subsite" of blue area.
You can find it (in italian) in the homepage->risorse->marvel nel mondo.
take a look and let me know your feedback
Define999 ha scritto:Hello from America! I hope it is ok to post in English? I wish to help the admins fill holes in the database. I know alot about Marvel and DC comics from all over the world.
Avengers 57.... American, Mexican La Prensa, German, UK, Spanish, Mexican Novidades, Denmark
I must admit I find the site a bit complicated? Am I even posting in the right area? Language issues of course are present. Also, why can I not see certain areas?
Anyways......
Iron Man 1.... American, Mexican, Australia, Brazilian, Spanish
Spiderman 300, a complete set... every known copy from around the world that uses cover! American, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Sweden, Poland, Greek, Dutch, Finnish, French, Danish, Filipino, Norwegian, and finally the Hungarian. This set is 1 of 3 known to exist in a complete state as far as the foreigns go.
Anyways I would love to contribute knowledge, but I think some patience will be required by the admins concerning myself. Navigating this forum is extremely difficult for me not counting the many rules I think I barely understand.
rrider ha scritto:Hello Define999, I also collect some foreign editions, for example I have the German version of some Silver-Age Marvel stories

because here is the post for new guys to introduce themselfs, only
dolce6767 ha scritto:moreover: our databes is quite complete about italian editions of marvel comics.
you can search a story (original american story), anche on the right side of the story-page you can see every italian reprints, with the cover of the italian album.
so you can check if you miss some italian reprints.
for example, here you can see the italian reprints of the first issues of star wars (1977):
http://www.blue-area.net/node/227107
(see the right column named "tutte le traduzioni italiane" (all italian reprints)
as you can see, some italian reprints are missing from you image
dolce6767 ha scritto:by the way:
if you need I can provide italian reprints (and possibly you can help me completing my collection of foreign marvel editions)
